September, 1998 saw the blooming of Shree Sarasswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer School at Mettupalayam, as a play school for children. Within a short span of time it has reached an incredible stature with the fastidious and genial dedication and untiring efforts of the Managing Trustee and Correspondent,Dr. Manimekalai Mohan and the Trustee and Secretary Mr. S. Mohan Doss.

The school is managed by Sri Srisha Educational and Charitable Trust,with a view to establishing Educational Institutions with International standards. The Trust aspires to create a congenial ambience for developing academic learning in a technologically superior and serene milieu, supported by a unique and globally proven teaching methods.Shree Sarasswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer School was established in the year 2002.
At present the school has 2200 students and 200 staff on its roll. It is co-educational and affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi with English as the medium of instruction.Shree Sarasswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer Matriculation Higher Secondary School functions in the same premises following the equity syllabus of the TamilNadu Higher Secondary Board steam.
